Rice Baby

Rice Baby, Casita & Parlour

RCG delivered three hospitality fitouts within Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, comprising Rice Baby (45 m²), Casita (110 m²) and Parlour (130 m²), all designed by The Café Collective. Each venue was crafted to bring its own identity to the precinct, with new production kitchens, cool rooms, stainless‑steel installations and high‑quality finishes shaping contemporary, functional spaces for staff, patients and visitors.

Working within a live hospital environment added a unique layer of complexity. The team managed daily coordination around noise, dust and service interruptions, ensuring operations could continue safely and without disruption. Over the seven‑week programme, RCG worked closely with hospital engineers to facilitate service connections, BMS balancing and commissioning, maintaining strict safety and compliance standards throughout.
